SEK SB-8700 Wet Look Joint Stabilizing Sealer
Advanced premium acrylic sealer
SB-8700 Wet Look Joint Stabilizing Sealer is ‘rain safe’ 90 minutes after application and will not yellow under exposure to sunlight. It is a 3 in 1 product, it enhances surface tone with a semi-gloss finish, protects the substrate surface and stabilizes joint sand. SB-8700 is specially formulated with an antifungal designed to inhibit the growth of mold, moss, and algae on the sealer film when applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces. SB-8700 will penetrate the substrate and provide a protective layer on the surface that is resistant to mild acid, alkali, and salt attacks. SB-8700 will increase the stain resistance of the surface and allow easier cleaning, maintenance, and extended wear. SB-8700 can be applied immediately after paver installation, as it is breathable and will not trap naturally occurring efflorescence and moisture. SB-8700 is a solvent-based product with a consistency of water and is clear in appearance when applied. SB-8700 is designed as a one-coat application but a second coat may be applied if desired. It will deeply enhance the surface tone with a semi-gloss finish. Cured sealer is freeze resistant to -60°F (-51°C) and is stable up to a temperature of 180°F (82°C).
NOTICE: Due to the moisture that we get here in the PNW, we do not recommend sealing at all from mid-September to mid-May. It is absolutely crucial that the pavers and the joint sand are completely dry before any sealing is done. Check out a dryness test here.
Sealing with joint stabilization 80 – 120
Per gallon, single application. Actual coverage may vary depending on the type, age, condition, joint size and porosity of the surface, application method and site conditions such as temperature. For a more uniform coverage or if desired, a second coat may be applied after the first coat has dried to the touch.

Know exactly how to get this product from the warehouse to your house.
Do you deliver? If so, how does it work?
Absolutely. Unless you’re installing a fire pit kit or building a stone grill surround, you’ll likely need the assistance of a 48-foot flatbed semi-truck with a carry-on forklift. Before we deliver, we’ll always verify that we can access the drop site. We’ll need enough room to turn a large truck around along with 15 feet vertical clearance above any trees or carports.
How much does a pallet of stones weigh?
A pallet of stones weighs about 3,000 pounds, the same as a Ford Focus. That’s a ton and a half of concrete blocks! Each pallet contains about 100 square feet of stones. If you want to know approximately how many pallets you’ll need for your project, divide your total square footage by 100.
If I have extra stones, can I return them?
There’s nothing worse than being stuck with something you don’t need. That’s why we’ve always let our customers return extra stones in like-new condition for a full refund. It’s industry standard to charge a per-stone restocking fee for any returned items, but since it’s challenging to deliver the precise amount of stones for a project, we don’t charge any extra fees.
Do I have to return the pallets my pavers arrive on?
No, you don’t have to return the pallets. However, just like glass milk jars, we charge a $20–30 deposit for each pallet delivered.
