PolySweep & X-Treme Wide Joint Sand
Prevent sand erosion from pavement joints
PolySweep and X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep are a blend of native sands conforming to ASTM c-144 specifications and high-quality synthetic polymers to form a long-term, semi-solid, flexible joint that expands and contracts with the elements such as extreme heat and cold, and freeze/thaw cycles. Both PolySweep and X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep are specially formulated with Clear Set TM Technology using high-quality clear polymers that don’t leave a haze on the substrate. PolySweep and X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep prevent sand erosion from the pavement joints caused by rain and other water run-off, deter weed growth and reduce overall pavement maintenance. Both PolySweep and X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep are designed for use on patios, walkways, paths, driveways, commercial applications and other pedestrian areas. PolySweep is designed for joints up to ¾” and comes in tan and gray. Xtreme Wide Joint PolySweep is designed for joints up to 4” and comes in Russet Brown.
Polysweep is recommended for joints up to 3/4” (max), 1” is acceptable where pavers intersect. X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep is specially formulated for joints ranging from 1/8” up to 4″. For best performance, install both PolySweep or X-Treme Wide Joint PolySweep with a minimum depth of 1.5”.
Both products prevent sand erosion from the pavement joints caused by rain and other water run-offs, deters weed growth and insect infestation plus reduces overall pavement maintenance. Both products are designed to expand and contract during freeze/thaw cycles and remain flexible to resist cracking.
NOTICE: Due to the risk of rain here in the PNW, we do not recommend using polysand at all from mid-September to mid-May. It is absolutely crucial that the pavers are completely dry before using any type of polysand. Surface moisture and/or rain can prematurely activate the polymers in the sand which will create a white haze on the surface of the pavers that is extremely hard to remove.

Know exactly how to get this product from the warehouse to your house.
Do you deliver? If so, how does it work?
Absolutely. Unless you’re installing a fire pit kit or building a stone grill surround, you’ll likely need the assistance of a 48-foot flatbed semi-truck with a carry-on forklift. Before we deliver, we’ll always verify that we can access the drop site. We’ll need enough room to turn a large truck around along with 15 feet vertical clearance above any trees or carports.
How much does a pallet of stones weigh?
A pallet of stones weighs about 3,000 pounds, the same as a Ford Focus. That’s a ton and a half of concrete blocks! Each pallet contains about 100 square feet of stones. If you want to know approximately how many pallets you’ll need for your project, divide your total square footage by 100.
If I have extra stones, can I return them?
There’s nothing worse than being stuck with something you don’t need. That’s why we’ve always let our customers return extra stones in like-new condition for a full refund. It’s industry standard to charge a per-stone restocking fee for any returned items, but since it’s challenging to deliver the precise amount of stones for a project, we don’t charge any extra fees.
Do I have to return the pallets my pavers arrive on?
No, you don’t have to return the pallets. However, just like glass milk jars, we charge a $20–30 deposit for each pallet delivered.
