Project materials included:
190 pieces Chateau Wall 400’s
33 pieces Chateau Wall 300’s
4 pieces Chateau Wall 200’s
1 piece Chateau Wall 100’s (for measurement)
2 pieces Post Caps / 28” x 28”
4 tubes Glue

Tools Needed:
Gloves, String line & stakes, level, gloves, shovel, wheel barrow, tape measure, rubber hammer & caulking gun.

Gluing Method:
4 quarter size blobs in each corner about 1 inch away from any edges

Installation Instructions:

Step 1 – Prepare the site
Dig out an area 12’6” one side and 14’6” down the other side, 26” wide (2” wider than stones lay out). Dig down 8” and add 6” of gravel to dug out area and tamp aggressively.

Step 2 – Lay base course
Using 17 Chateau 400’s set stones along outside length, 8” apart set 15 Chateau 400’s stones along the inside length. Use a rubber hammer to set stones in place.

Step 3 – Lay cornerstone
Lay 4 Chateau 400’s at each end to create the bottom course, then lay 3 Chateau 400’s & 1 Chateau 200’s to tie into the wall on the 2nd course. Lay 2 Chateau 200’s (one on each end of the pillar tie ins) to complete the second course.

Step 4 – Continue
Each Pillar will be 9 courses high. The front and the back of the wall be 2 courses high. Starting at inside corner set 2 verticals side by side.

Step 5 – Set the vertical
Set the other vertical stones 4” apart (use Chateau 100 for pacing). After the verticals are set, glue a course of Chateau 400’s to top of verticals and to the ends of each other.

Step 6 – Cap the wall
Lay and glue 33 Chateau 300’s side to side for a top cap. Set & level 28” x 28” Post Caps to finish the pillars.
