Everything You Need to Know About
Getting Certified
Once you submit your application with all required documentation, the review process typically takes 5-7 business days. After approval, you'll schedule your Hardscape Installation Basics class, which is a one-day training. Most contractors complete the entire certification process within 2-3 weeks.
The Certified Installer Program is available throughout Western Interlock's service areas. Lead referrals are distributed based on your specified service radius and project capabilities.
The initial Hardscape Installation Basics class has a nominal fee that is often offset by your first product discount. There are no annual certification fees, though you're required to attend two continued education classes per year, which are provided at a discounted rate.
Yes, certification can be revoked for non-compliance with program requirements, including failure to maintain insurance, poor workmanship claims, or not meeting continued education requirements. We work with contractors to address any issues before revocation becomes necessary.
Leads are distributed based on geographic location, project type, and installer specialization. We aim to match each project with the most suitable certified installer while ensuring fair distribution among active program participants.
Awesome! We're excited to get started with you. The first step will be to reach out to our team by filling out and submitting our contact form. We'll reach out to you from there to get the process started.
